Summary

The paper presents the problems of business development forecasting, concepts of forecasting and forecasting, the need for their development, importance and necessary conditions, the role of management forecasting in business (its development), the main signs and types of classification, methods and models, their advantages.

The differences between the forecast and the plan, their peculiarities are given. The conclusion is the ways to solve the problems of forecasting business development and using favorable methods.
